Maybe

As a single person it is interesting to watch as people (girls in my case) come into your life, and then out again. You meet someone and sometimes (not always) you think, "Maybe" or "What if?" Then as the years go by you see all the maybes and the what if girls (or boys) in your mind and wonder what went wrong. "It can't be them" you think to yourself, "that means there must be something wrong with me." And so you search and search to fix yourself in order to prove that it's not you. It's a thought that haunts you, and no matter how great things are going in the other theatres of your life you are always a failure because of that long list of what if girls (or boys). The worst part is that it isn't really your fault, and yet it is all your fault.

Maybe I'm not very optimisic, but can you blame me?
